The Whitelands Academy is a 600-pupil school. The 5,210m2 area includes 26 classrooms, 4 court sports hall, numerous sports pitches and a MUGA.

McCoy Contractors delivered the groundworks package for the school, this included 3,300m3 of imported subsoil fill to complete the levels for the substructure which included the hard landscaping and soft landscaping areas.

McCoys installed a piling platform along with 340m3 of reinforced pad and beam foundations and a 2,977m2

reinforced ground floor slab. The drainage works comprised of foul and surface below ground drainage including an attenuation pond providing a sustainable drainage system for the site.

McCoy Contractors installed a number of new services on site; gas, water, electric, street lighting, CCTV and data.

They carried out hard landscaping works including roads, footpaths with associated kerbs and edgings.
