McCoy Contractors specialise in all aspects of Groundworks and Civil Engineering particularly; bulk earthworks, foundations, reinforced concrete slabs, water attenuation, land drainage, sewers, road construction, road planning, retaining structures, asphalt surfacing, hard landscaping - comprising of block paving, kerbs, paving slabs, signage & street furniture.

Based in Solihull, West Midlands, we work with key clients directly as Principal Contractor and with Main Contractors as a Subcontractor, operating generally within a 2hr (driving time) radius of Birmingham. ie. Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire, South Yorkshire & East Midlands, including all areas contained therein. We do carefully consider opportunities outside of our typical two hour operating area, customer & project on an individual basis.

We currently undertake projects ranging from £100k to £20m, including full groundworks and earthworks services on across all sectors of construction, these are all delivered on a Labour, Plant & Material basis.

McCoy Contractors capabilities include Pre-Construction Services (from concept, fiscal planning, to detailed project programming & analysing best value solutions), to traditional Subcontract Services (the core of our business) with the ability and structure to act as Principal Contractor, providing the services that would be expected of a Main Contractor, with a flexible and client focussed approach.
