McCoy were contracted to undertake the site preparation and civil engineering works on this scheme.
The scope of the works included upfilling to the site with imported acceptable fill, construction of two retaining walls, one of which had significant arboricultural constraints imposed and required us to hand dig between the roots of 3 large lime trees to locate the piling positions, the construction detail of the wall also included a lightweight fill beneath the foundation to minimise loading on the actual root structure .
In addition the scope included the onsite foul and surface drainage and offsite connection formed across the busy Pershore Road along with concrete flood protection and paving works.
The 16 week contract was completed and handed back to the client.
