McCoy Contractors are carrying out the earthworks and groundworks for Quayside Gloucester. The £23.5 million transformation will see new doctors surgeries and a multi-storey carpark.

The proposal suggested two GP surgeries that will serve 17,500 patients, a pharmacy, office space and staff parking, as well as a 500-space multi-storey car park.

The project will be split into two phases: phase one will cost £16million to build the GP surgeries and pharmacy and will be finished in August 2020; and phase two will bring the 500-space car park including charging points for electric vehicles at a cost of £7.5million.

McCoys are currently on site at the Gloucester development.
