Construction of a collection management facility for the Science Museum Group, Swindon

The Science Museum Group instructed the construction of a 280,000 sq ft building, National Collections Centre, to store more than 300,000 artefacts from its collection.

McCoy Contractors carried out the groundworks package for the foundations and drainage which included precast ground beams, storm and foul drainage and the construction of a lift shaft.

The 21 week contract was successfully completed on time and within budget, whilst ensuring the highest quality workmanship.
